The Story: Fight for Sanity or Survival?

Baaghi 4 plunges into the life of Ronny Pratap Singh (Tiger Shroff), a naval officer haunted by vivid hallucinations after surviving a near-fatal train accident. Ronny is desperately searching for Alisha (Harnaaz Sandhu), the love of his life whom he believes was lost in the tragedy. However, his elder brother Jeetu (Shreyas Talpade) and his doctor insist that Alisha is a figment of his imagination, a classic case of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

As Ronny's grip on reality loosens, he stumbles upon a chilling truth, pulling him into a dark and violent spiral. This journey leads him directly into the path of the menacing antagonist, Chacko (Sanjay Dutt), and his brother Paulo (Saurabh Sachdeva).

The film revolves around Ronny's struggle: Is he truly delusional, or is he being manipulated as part of a much larger, sinister conspiracy? What follows is a relentless quest for truth, packed with high-octane action sequences where Ronny goes all out to uncover the deception and fight for his love and his sanity.

Our Verdict: More Action, Less Story

For Action Junkies: If you are a fan of gravity-defying stunts, slick martial arts, and sheer raw power, Tiger Shroff delivers. The film is essentially a spectacle of non-stop, visually intense action, especially in the second half where Ronny enters his signature 'Rambo' mode.

The Narrative Flaw: Where the film falters is in its screenplay. The first half is bogged down by repetitive attempts to establish Ronny’s hallucinations, which can be patience-testing. The plot, an unofficial remake of the Tamil film Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu, struggles to weave an engaging and original narrative, often prioritizing bloodshed over solid storytelling.

Performances:

  • Tiger Shroff shines in the action department, embracing the 'unhinged' nature of his character.

  •  Sanjay Dutt brings a certain menace as the villain, and his scenes in the latter half are a highlight.

  • Harnaaz Sandhu's debut is decent, but her dual roles lack the emotional gravitas needed to anchor the story.

  • Talented actors like Shreyas Talpade and Sonam Bajwa are sadly underutilized in underdeveloped roles.

Final Take: Baaghi 4 is strictly a mass action entertainer designed to showcase Tiger Shroff’s fighting skills.

It’s loud, bloody, and full of unbelievable action, but it struggles with a flimsy script and a generic villain track.

Watch it if you are ready to overlook logic for some heavy-duty stunt work.

Our Rating: 2.5/5 Stars (For the Action Only)
